I'm a Texan and a country girl born and raised. I received my bachelor's degree from the University of North Texas in music performance and education. I performed in musicals, operas, and solos all over the world. I married Dwayne, who has a beautiful tenor voice, in 1991 and we moved into a family farm house and have lived there ever since, where we are raising our five adopted children. Dwayne is a farmer by day and a photographer by night, and I'm a crafter by day and a homemaker by night.
I've crafted since I was a child. I don't remember a time when I didn't craft. So, when a tornado destroyed an old barn behind our farm house dating back before 1917, it wasn't much of a surprise that I decided to do something "crafty" with the pile of rubble I couldn't get anyone to clean up. Besides that, we've got a lot of college, cars, and insurances to help pay for in the not so distant future! That's how Country Do-Overs began.
